The FSI Foundation is the charitable arm of FSI, which is committed to the funding of education projects in Nepal. The country of Nepal has given a great deal to FSI, both in the military backgrounds of our founding directors and in the exemplary service provided to FSI by our Gurkha and Nepalese personnel. However, Nepal is also a poor country where many children have to go without much in the way of formal education, which restricts their life chances. FSI is committed to funding small scale local education projects in the villages from where we recruit. The scale of the projects enables us to keep control of the funding and to ensure that the benefit is felt by those most in need. In funding these projects FSI is giving a little bit back to the communities that have given us so much.
